DSPNA Thanks Local Public Safety Officers

If three times can be considered a tradition, then DSPNA continued the tradition this week by recognizing and thanking our LAPD and LAFD officers who support our neighborhood.

In 2020,  DSPNA launched a new program ”Thank Your Local Heroes” that focuses on the public safety officers who provide our neighborhood with safety and security. To recognize those who support our community, this week we delivered nearly 500 individually packaged protein bars and other healthy munchies to the LAPD Hollywood Community Station (Wilcox south of Sunset)and LAFD Station 41 (Gardner Street south of Sunset).

It brings DSPNA tremendous gratification to know these snackable treats can provide immediate nourishment for those who are constantly on the go
